Our Approach
Here's exactly what happens when you work with us.
Initial Consultation
We start with a confidential conversation — no pressure, no jargon. You tell us what's going on, ask any questions you have, and we explain your options clearly so you can decide what to do next.
Case Assessment
We dig into the details of your situation — the facts, the evidence, and what the law says. Then we build a strategy around your specific goals and what outcome you're working toward.
Strategic Preparation
We prepare thoroughly so nothing catches us off guard. Every detail is reviewed, every angle is covered. When you walk into that courtroom, you walk in with a team that's ready.
Resolution & Support
We see it through to the end — and we keep you informed every step of the way. Whatever the outcome, we make sure nothing is rushed, nothing is overlooked, and you always know where things stand.
Frequently Asked Questions
Still have questions? We're happy to help. Reach out anytime and we'll get back to you within two business days.
Every case is different. We offer consultations at a reasonable flat rate so you can understand your options before making any decisions. There's no obligation to retain us after that first conversation.
Talk to us before assuming you can't. We'll be upfront about costs and work with you on what's possible. You deserve proper legal representation regardless of your situation.
Bring any documents related to your case — court papers, police reports, custody agreements, or correspondence. Don't worry if you don't have everything. We'll help figure out what's needed as we move forward.
Family law cases involve your children and your rights. Having representation significantly improves your outcome. We always recommend at least a consultation before deciding to go it alone.
Not always. Many family law matters can be resolved through negotiation or mediation. If court is necessary, we'll prepare you fully so you're never walking in blind.
We prepare thoroughly and represent you aggressively in court. While many cases resolve through negotiation, we're ready to take your case to trial when it's in your best interest.
Stay calm, don't answer questions without an attorney present, and call us immediately. What you say to a caseworker can be used in your case. Getting legal help right away makes a real difference.
Guardianship gives someone legal responsibility for a child without permanently ending parental rights. Adoption does. We can walk you through which option makes the most sense for your situation.
Yes. You'll work directly with our attorneys throughout your case. You won't be passed off to junior staff or paralegals for the important stuff. We handle your case personally from start to finish.
That's a strong reason to get one too. Going unrepresented against an attorney puts you at a serious disadvantage. Call us and we'll get you up to speed fast.

Noah J. Galvin
Managing Attorney
Noah built his practice around one thing: making sure parents have someone truly in their corner. He focuses on family law and domestic relations, and he brings real courtroom experience to every case he takes on.
He studied political science at Thomas More University in Kentucky, where he also played baseball, before earning his law degree from the University of Northern Kentucky in 2022.
His first role out of law school was as a civil defense attorney in Denver. He later joined Hartigan Law in 2024, where he represented parents in Adams County who couldn't afford an attorney. He helped reunite children with their families in case after case.
Noah believes every client deserves to be heard. That's not just something he says. It's how he runs his practice.
Peter W. Wasley
Managing Attorney
Peter has spent over a decade showing up for families in some of their hardest moments. He handles Dependency and Neglect, Domestic Relations, Guardianship, and Juvenile Delinquency cases, and he has tried a lot of them successfully.
Peter graduated from the University of Colorado Law School in 2011. After law school he worked at the Colorado State Public Defender's Office and the Colorado Department of Human Services, which gave him a deep understanding of how the system actually works from the inside.
He began his career in juvenile law as a Guardian ad Litem in 2013, representing the best interests of children in Dependency and Neglect cases. In 2017, he founded Wasley Law, where he took on multiple advocacy roles including Child Legal Representative and Respondent Parent Counsel.
Peter is a member of the Colorado Bar Association, the Adams County Bar Association, and the Adams County Best Practice Court Team for Dependency and Neglect. He brings more than a decade of hands-on experience to every family he works with.
